What is a RDS CAL?
RDS CAL (Remote Desktop Services Client Access Licence) is a license that gives user access rights to server services.
There are two types of Remote Desktop Services CAL: Device CAL and User CAL. It is possible to simultaneously use both types of CALs to access server software.
Remote Desktop Services External Connector license allows you to provide Remote Desktop Services on Windows Server access to an unlimited number of external users (partners and customers).
What such type of rental means:
 special extension package (terminal server) will be installed to your virtual server,then our company will activate it using your SPLA partner key and set the desired number of additional connectionsOperation requires permission for our employees to access your server and reboot it.
Terminal configuration is free, but each connection costs €18.02 a month. To install terminal server, please contact our tech support and define for which server you need licenses and how many.
We also suggest that you add the amount equal to one month of desired licenses rental to your balance in advance. |
